Visiting Sri Lanka was like visiting family I had never met. I have experienced that so many times in Ireland and Scotland, and those wonderful folks were always blood relatives. This time, I was meeting Sammie’s host family from when she studied abroad in 2014: the love and warmth felt exactly the same.
