Paris: Art Museums Part 4 – Musée d’Orsay

Degas, well known for painting dancers, was making the commentary with this work that the Mamam’s in the back right are essentially pimping their daughters through ballet. A friend at home told me Degas used sex workers as his models. So many layers to this onion!

The Musée d’Orsay was one of Henry and my favorite spots in Paris, as the pictures below demonstrate. I spent some quiet time outside and distributed some of his ashes.

  1. Did TSA ever question you? Henry would be proud of your sprinkling adventures.

    1. No, but I was prepared with his death certificate and certificate of cremation. I am glad he didn’t wind up in a garbage can in the airport!
