Paris: fashion!

I am not a fashionable person by any means, but I did notice a few things on this trip. One was that we just missed fashion week, so there were still folks in the business around with big traveling boxes of clothes.

I noticed a lot of very large billboards with chic advertisements. Which, apparently, I did not capture with a pic. Maybe I was too mesmerized, because I loved them!

I noticed people in ordinary settings seemed very put together. But, in fairness, that is true in other big cities, too. I didn’t take pictures of them because I thought it would be creepy. But my favorite was a teenager in a different take on a school uniform. Rather than a typical skirt, blouse and tie, she wore an oversized, flowy suit made out of the same material, but having so much individuality. Loved it.

We saw fancy stores on a bus tour, but I passed on the opportunity to window shop (or “window lick” as they say in Paris). I did take a few pics as we just happened past stores; for your viewing pleasure.

  1. If you didn’t get the clothes, I know you have the pose 🙂
