Growing Tea in Sri Lanka

Sri Lankans love tea. It is a holdover from British colonialism. A Scottish man named James Taylor started the tea industry in Sri Lanka in the 1800s. Then he moved to North Carolina to make sweet music. Teehee.

Here are some pics and a video of the day Rochi, Giham and I went to the mountains to learn more about the tea industry at a tea museum, to see the tea growing, and then to visit a pretty Lake Gregory. Video credit to Giham!
